The MSB Common Entrance Test (CET) is an all India Level Test
conducted by Mumbai School of Business as an entrance
exam for the MBA for all its Campuses in India. The test
is multiple choice based and traditionally comprises five
sections that span the domain of Mathematics, Logical
Reasoning, English Language Skills, Puzzle, and Currant
Affairs. The MSB CET is the first step for admission to
MSB. The RESULTS are declared in the website and MSB also
puts up a list of candidates who are eligible for the
next stage of a group discussion and an interview. The
scores are relative, and are calculated on a percentile
basis for individual sections as well as for the total.
Candidates invited for the next stage usually possess
total scores that are in excess of 99 percentile and,
more importantly, also posses balanced scores across all
the individual sections. MSB CET has evolved from a speed
based simple test into a test which demands more proficiency
in concepts and fundamentals. It is designed in such a
way that it tests a candidate's analytical and logical
abilities.
