CSR Event with Akanksha And Jan Vikas Society

Under CSR activity the students from MSB took charge of yet another project for a period of 15 days. The MSB students visited slum areas in and around Navi Mumbai and taught the basics of education to these children. To encourage them there was a special program held on 14th of Nov 2009 on Children's Day where the children were presented clothes and sweets. Dominos Brand delivered free pizzas for the children. Each child was given the opportunity to perform and exhibit their talent.

Our students also got associated with the reputed NGOs Akanksha Foundation and Orphanage Jan Vikas Society where they went and guided these children for various events and activities. They gave coaching to these children in the field of Cricket and Football. Students organized a 7 Day Cricket Tournament which was held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Belapur. There were 8 teams in all - 4 each from Akanksha and Jan Vikas Society respectively. The Winners and Runners up were presented trophies, certificates and cash prizes.

Yet another milestone achieved in the history of CSR activities by MSB.

MSB has been the proud sponsor of 3 day Football and Hockey Tournament of young budding talents associated with NGO Akanksha. The trophies and gifts were sponsored by MSB which was a great encouragement for the underprivileged children to boost their morale. In addition a football team of MSB played a friendly match with the talented young buds of India which enhanced their level of confidence. The Manager Mr. Glen has all praise for MSB for its generous support and promised to be associated with MSB for the life time.
